friendship is a privilege; one of trust, compassion and honesty. a true friend is one you share likenesses; "you hungry, oh, you are a vegetarian too" "you are a democrat, oh, what do you think about bush" "you beleive in all religions and life after death, oh, enlighten me" and thus a true friendhship is sparked. friendship is more than "pass the peanut reeses, it is shared attitudes, compassion when one loses a loved one, total understandinig and help when one needs to perform a commitment, belief and happinness when one accomplishes success and shared misery when one doesn't accomplish success. true friendship is acheived through total harmony, understanding each others dimensions and agendas and accepting challenge. a whole friendship is never having to ask "why" or to explain one's actions, only to accept each other unconditionally.......macvegan
