one of the most intelligent and realistic quotes posted. god is blamed for more things than your next door neighbor. it is so easy to blame death, sickness, disaster and failure on god. poor god, he just doesn't get the respect that he deserves sometimes. our shortcomings and our successes are at the hand of our own doings. whether or not we go to war, an earthquake kills thousands of people, a loved one dies or a brother makes a three point shot at the buzzer to win a game, it is our doing and ours alone. a tradgedy can bring hopelessness, then turn to god for spiritual guidance. "in the name of god" is used by everyone from serial killers to suicide bombers to president bush to kobe bryant. god is so convenient sometimes, you just have to love him.........macvegan
