kill one person and you are a murderer; kill more than two or three and you are a serial murder; put a uniform on and as long as you are on the right side, you can kill as many people as humanly possible and you are a hero and given a medal..........

"let your conscious be your guide." to kill in the name of god and country is noble and brave; killing an animal is considered ethical as long as you are killing the animal for food. to kill an animal just for the sake of killing is a criminal offense. if an animal kills a human for food, they will be hunted down like "animals." a king or president who drops a bomb on a country and kills 10,000's of people, both innocent and enemies is considered a leader; as long as he wins the war. god help him if he lost the war; he will be tried as a war criminal.....if you kill a soldier in the midst of combat that has a family and children and is forced to protect his homeland and ideals just like you are asked to do, ethically and morally your conscious is clear......our conscious and our rationalization and interpretatin of values and morals is so abstract. we put into prospective whatever cleanses are conscious and are morals....killing is killing; the one killed is dead no matter how you rationalize the act....your conscious may be clear but your hands are still bloodied.

how sweet it is to sit back in comfort and comment, complain, point fingers, abolish one's actions and decisions.....how sweet it is to have the luxury of never having to take a risk or dare to challenge a plan or a thought and take it from the drawing board to practicality.....how sweet it is to be so safe in your actions and criticize without the risk of being criticized yourself......how unfulfilling and cowardly it is to always sit on the sidelines and never participate in the game......
