Movie Quotes

Movie Quotes

This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time.

Movie Quotes – Fight Club, Funny Movie Quotes, Great Movie Quotes

Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

Movie Quotes – Fight Club, Funny Movie Quotes, Great Movie Quotes

You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

Movie Quotes – Fight Club, Funny Movie Quotes, Great Movie Quotes

It's only after you've lost everything that you're free to do anything.

Movie Quotes – Fight Club, Funny Movie Quotes, Great Movie Quotes

The things you own end up owning you.

Movie Quotes – Fight Club, Funny Movie Quotes, Great Movie Quotes

We're consumers. We are by-products of a lifestyle obsession. Murder, crime, poverty, these things don't concern me. What concerns me are celebrity magazines, television with 500 channels, some guy's name on my underwear. Rogaine, Viagra, Olestra.

all of us at some time are the "middle children of history." nothing wrong with waiting tables, pumping gas....it is an honest living and a stepping stone to the goals and dreams one inspires....you are only a white collar slave in your own mind....each generation is propelled by participants like the gas station attendant, the waiter in the restaurant, the insurance salesman and donald trump....without the gas station attendant, donald trump couldn't fill his limo; without the waiter, paris hilton couldn't feed her dog and without donald trump, we wouldn't have high rises to fill with jobs for all of those white collar workers. we are all spokes of a great huge wheel and if you take out one spoke, the entire wheel will cave in and collapse...being a millionaire and chasing fast cars, beautiful woman and buying armani shirts for $850 is all an illusion. we all see it just like we see the ocean and the sky......when it is all over, we will all go out the same and all of the fast cars and the armani shirts will be here for the next generation to chase.........

masterbation only leaves a mess; reality is forever........

only after you lost everything do you realize what you have lost.

the things you own end up owning you only if you allow them too...otherwise they are part of your legacy......

idealistic.....but think of the consequences; if we were not consumers, there would be no society to propel and stimulate technology, fashion, lifestyle advances.....if we didn't have the underwear with the designer name on it and the viagra to stimulate our desire to take the designer underwear off, and if we didn't have the 500 channels to fuel our craving for 600 channels, we would be like cows, standing in a field of grass crapping it it, chewing it and staring at the open roads with no cars.........
